Middle Eastern Feast

I encourage you to plan a dinner party and cook this Middle Eastern feast. While this menu works well year round and is easy to cook outdoors on the grill, it is particularly appreciated in the winter. Its salads of bright colors and exotic flavors have ingredients that are not only easy to find all winter long, but it’s really when they’re at their best. The richness of the lamb necessitates drinking a big red wine- a pleasure in the cold weather. After this meal you won’t be dreaming of spring peas and baby vegetables, you’ll be hoping that it starts to snow and you have wood for the fireplace.

Cocktails and Appetizers:
Ginger Rogers
Hummus
Homemade Pita Bread

Main Course:
Pomegranate Cous Cous Salad
Root Vegetable and Citrus Salad
Lamb Kofta

For Dessert:
Persian Love Cake
